Who We Are
Illuminated Angels Haven (IAH) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization created to bring light and hope to underprivileged girls in the Dominican Republic who face overwhelming challenges. Many of these little ones grow up with empty plates, untreated illnesses, and no access to education, needs no child should ever be without.
At IAH, we believe every child deserves to feel loved, safe, and valued. That’s why we dedicate ourselves to providing not only nourishment, healthcare, education, and emotional support, but also a loving home where they can heal and flourish. More than meeting their immediate needs, we walk beside them with compassion and care, helping transform their hardships into opportunities and their struggles into stories of hope.

Illuminated Angels Haven (IAH) began by responding to the urgent needs of vulnerable children in the Dominican Republic. Our first visit we witnessed malnutrition, limited access to medical care, and a desperate need for basic supplies. These experiences lead the foundation for our mission to provide safety, care, and opportunity for every child we serve.
Today we provide nutritious meals, clothing, medical support, emotional counseling, school supplies, and ongoing community collaboration to meet each child’s daily needs.
Illuminated Angels Haven (IAH) aims to build a permanent facility, a home and educational center that provides stability, safety, and life long opportunities for even more children. This vision ensures that every child in our care can grow, learn, and flourish in a nurturing environment to support their full potential.
How We Work: Step-by-Step Process
Assess & Rescue
Illuminated Angels Haven (IAH) team visits communities, assesses each child’s immediate needs, and coordinates rescue or safe placement when necessary. We act quickly to ensure safety and basic care.
Stabilize & Care
Once a child is in our care, we provide emergency aid including food, clothing, medical attention, and a secure place to sleep, while beginning emotional support and health assessments.
Educate & Empower
We enroll children in school, provide tutoring, and run life-skills and enrichment programs that build confidence and future capability.
Sustain & Grow
Through fundraising, partnerships, and community engagement, we build sustainable programs and work toward long-term goals like establishing a permanent facility and ongoing local support networks.
